Advertising, Marketing & Promotion Comparative Guide – (legal) guide to the world of advertising and marketing
Under the guidance of our British colleagues from Lewis Silkin, our colleagues Irena Lišková and Ladislav Mádl, together with other law firms from around the world, participated in the preparation of a guide to the legal world of advertising, marketing and promotion, which was published on the website of the renowned legal platform Mondaq.
The guide currently compares the legal regulation of the advertising and marketing sector in 16 countries around the world; the regulation of 9 other countries will be published in the near future. It contains not only information on the basic legal framework, but also more detailed treatment of topical issues such as misleading advertising, non/direct marketing, specific regimes for certain sectors (pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, etc.) or types of advertising (comparative advertising, native advertising, interest-based advertising, influencer marketing, etc.), as well as enforcement of related rights and obligations.
