Amendment to the Labour Code in bullet points

In April, the government approved the long-awaited and much-discussed amendment to the Labour Code, which aims to transpose the EU Directives on transparent and predictable working conditions in the EU and on work-life balance and the Directive on certain aspects of the organisation of working time. However, apart from the transposition itself, the amendment also takes into account other changes, such as regulations on working from home. The proposal is currently being debated in the Chamber of Deputies under Print 423. The aim of this article is not to analyse the proposed changes in detail, but to give the reader an overview of the main changes.

Michal Peškar ranked in Chambers Europe 2023

The most acknowledged world-wide ranking of British company Chambers and Partners has published its European ranking for 2023 – Chambers Europe.

Not only that for the thirteenth time in a row, the employment-law team of Randl Partners has been confirmed at the highest level of evaluation, i.e. in Band 1, but also it has been the first time ranking for Michal Peškar, partner of Randls and the employment-team leader.

HR News No. 2/2023

In the second issue of Randls HR News, we are looking at the new changes brought to employers by the amendment to the Occupational Health Services (OHS) Decree. Although at first glance it might seem that the changes are few and not significant, the contrary is true. Moreover, the OHS field is likely to see further changes in the near future. There has also been a number of recent amendments to the Labour Code. One of them has already been approved, other are on their way to the Parliament.

The upcoming amendment to the Copyright Act and online content sharing regulation
